NEI Measurement Assurance Program
EZIP was a founding member and has been an active participant in the Measurement Assurance Program established through the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The program, in existence since 1987, offers participants in-the-blind nuclide samples of various forms to measure and report results. The NIST then compares participant's data with known data and issues reports indicating the degree to which the measurement agrees with NIST's result. Members can also send in their own samples to NIST for analysis. Measurement traceability of radionuclide sources is established and maintained through participation in this program and the adherence to a quality assurance program as defined in ANSI N42.22-1995.

American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
EZIP has been an active participant in the development of several standards including the measurements traceability standard, ANSI N42.22. EZIP staff is presently involved in the development of a standard to define large area emission rate standards.

Health Physics Society (HPS)
EZIP is an affliate of the Health Physics society, an organization dedicated to the practice of radiation safety. EZIP has participated in standards development efforts and technical discussions with other members of the HPS and it's committees. EZIP's radiation standards are in use by radiation protection professionals throughout the world.
